Since it's
launch in 2004 Full Tilt has
become one of the top sites
around. It's endorsed by a ton
of the top players in the world
including Phil Ivey, Mike
Matusow, John Juanda, Gus Hansen
and a bunch more. They can all
be found playing at the tables
and any one has the opportunity
to sit down and play with them.
Full Tilt
offers some of the highest
stakes around which makes it an
amazing site for both railbirds
who like to see big action and
high stakes players. Pots are
often as big as hundreds of
thousands of dollars.
The traffic
volume at FTP is excellent and
will likely continue to grow. They have wonderful
software and an excellent
support staff. They have a large
selection of games available so
you should have no problem
finding a table running whatever
the game.
They have an
average point program where
players earn Full Tilt Points
for their play which can be
redeemed for merchandise as well
as tournament freerolls.
The games may
be slightly above average in
difficulty and they definitely
get very hard when the stakes
get big. Also, the fixed limit
games are exceptionally tough.
The rake is
just a touch above average in
the industry in terms of rake.
They rake 5% with a maximum of
$1 at $1/$2 games and below. At
higher limits the max rake is $3
and they do have a "No Flop - No
Drop" policy like most sites. Overall the
site is fantastic and worth a
look by any poker player.
For every dollar
that's raked from from the pot
each player that was dealt cards
in that hand will earn one
point. If less than one dollar
is raked then partial points are
awarded and it's possible to
earn up to three points per
hand. Each point has a cash
value of $.06 which means you
can earn up to $18 per hundred
hands. The bonus gets released
into your account in increments
of 20% of your deposit. If you
deposit $500, for every $100 you
earn it will be released into
your account.
