Adam Junglen has come so close to winning a Sunday major a
handful of times over the past couple of months. He can finally
sleep easy because he just crushed the final table of the
Pokerstars Sunday Million and took it down
without a chop for just under $200,000.
At the start of the final table he was essentially tied for the
chip lead with FishList_net. Through dominant play and a couple
lucky hands Junglen found himself heads up with Vuoti with a
monster chip lead. Junglen had 61 million to Vuoti's 9.4
million.
It
only took a few minutes for Junglen to close the doors on Vuoti.
In fact, Vuoti was drawing dead on the final hand when he shoved
bottom pair and a flush draw against Junglen's slow played full
house.
Junglen is currently ranked 32nd in the Cardplayer online player
of the year race. Expect to continue to see this kid dominate
online in the future. It should be exciting to see what he does
once he turns 21 and can finally give live play a shot. |
